NWA Book Fest is a 501c3 non-profit that exists to SUPPORT the growing literary community in Northwest ARKANSAS THRough celebration and GENTLE-READING PRACTICES.
BOOK FEST
Book Fest is a free public festival that happens annually each spring. The event centers around a full-day schedule of bookish programming, such as author readings, book signings, and children’s storytimes, as well as a street market full of local, book-related businesses.
In 2023, NWA Book Fest welcomed 1500+ individuals from throughout the region, supported 40+ local businesses, and featured 25+ local authors.

Book Swap
Book Swap works to combat waste in the publishing industry through a community-oriented event where attendees can swap their gently used reads with one another. The event also featured local music, local artisans, and opportunities for readers to connect with one another and build lasting friendships.
In 2023, Book Swap had over 300 readers swap 2000+ gently-used books.
